Being so lean isn’t as pretty as it looks. I get major mood swings— where it affects my emotions. There’s aches and fatigue too. I think about having a box of pizza and a big bowl of cereal— Cinnamon Toast Crunch used to be my thing. And I don’t even remember the last time I had a donut or soda or even a candy bar. But then I remember that I asked for this. I asked to go on this journey and I told myself I would get there and never look back.
Push the envelope. The tricky thing is to understand where the envelope is for you; your 110% or 50% are relative and specific to you. Don’t let other people define your markers because it’s ultimately you that has to face the repercussions just like you alone will reap the rewards.

It always seems impossible until it's done. I always wrote myself off thinking I'd never get my abs because of my genetics-- all it took was dedication and determination; living in my future and working at it as if I was already there. And look at me now, more shredded than the carnitas you're having tonight!

"The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender!"

Conceive it. Believe it. And seriously, you will Achieve it. To be honest, I look at some of my own pictures and am taken aback-- is that really me? My results catch me by surprise. They shouldn't though, I have worked hard for every single thing in my life by being intentional and committed; including my body. The key to achieving your goals is to first envision yourself accomplishing them-- believe that you are capable, believe that you are worthy, and it will be of no surprise once you are accomplished. It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN!!

Work so hard, there's not a shred of you that says I'm playin'!
